1. Acceptance of terms

By registering for and using Trou Tyd ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Accounts & roles

Event Owners, Co-Owners, Wedding Planners, Assistants and Read-Only Viewers each have different permissions within an event, as described in the Platform. Guests do not require an account and access events via invitation code, secure link, or QR code.

3. Pricing & payments

Event pricing is determined by the total number of guests invited, not the number who attend, and is billed via PayFast. Pricing tiers are configured by Trou Tyd and may change; your active event is unaffected by pricing changes made after purchase.

4. Accommodation

Trou Tyd does not process accommodation payments. Guests arrange and pay for accommodation directly with the relevant provider.

5. Data retention

After a wedding is archived, event data is retained for a configurable period (three months by default) before being anonymised or deleted, in line with our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Platform to send unlawful, abusive, or unsolicited communications, or to upload guest data you are not authorised to process.

7. Liability

The Platform is provided "as is". Trou Tyd is not liable for third-party services (payment gateways, accommodation providers, registries) linked from the Platform.
